A nature lover at heart, Beccah has been swimming in Magic Lake long enough to remember sunbathing on the old poop dock and summer swims before the goldfish exfoliation era. Drawn equally to the landscapes in nature and people, she is a sociologist, community-based researcher and singer-songwriter whose always thought the greatest superpower is to experience home - and the everyday - as if one is a traveler. She loves learning about what makes others come alive - whether through their stories about the things that make them laugh, stay up too late, or the tunes that - for better or worse - have woven themselves into the fabric of their lives.
