Pender Poetry Speaks

Leslie has facilitated the open mic, 'Speakeasy', on Pender Island for perhaps decades - no one really knows. Her favorite activities are being on the radio, listening to Pender writers read, and writing love/hate poems to life. She is an activist, a mentor, and mother to a ghost. Leslie is not a newcomer anymore as she's lived here for 31 years.
